United for Global Mental Health is a catalyst organisation that brings ambition to global advocacy, innovation to financing and voice to campaigning.
We want a world where everyone, everywhere, can turn to someone who is able to support their mental health when needed.
We are a UK-based NGO that operates worldwide, supported by a board of trustees and advisors drawn from our close collaboration with the global mental health community.
Everything we do is done in partnership. Our work is driven by people with lived experience, global mental health experts, campaign groups, NGOs, governmental organisations and those working on mental health at the local, national and international levels.
To bring a powerful range of expertise to our work, we have recruited partners from across business, philanthropy, communications and innovative financing.
Having launched in 2018, we are already making an impact. We organised an influential meeting at the UN General Assembly on global mental health with a range of governments and other stakeholders. We also co-ordinated the launch of the Lancet Commission on Global Mental Health and Sustainable Development, in addition to showcasing innovative projects at the first-ever Global Ministerial Mental Health Summit in London.
