United for Global Mental Health only exists because of our amazing partners. For the next 2 weeks we are celebrating all the organisations who have made our work possible so far and those we are planning to work with in the coming months and years.
We would like to thank our major funders who have enabled us to keep running. With an expanding team and workload, we wouldn’t be anywhere without these fabulous organisations investing in us to help campaign for Global Mental Health.
Our funders include: Wellcome Trust, Pivotal Ventures, Comic Relief, the Government of Canada and the Government of Netherlands.
- Supported by the Wellcome Trust, we are developing a global advocacy blueprint, bringing mental health advocates together to influence policy makers.
- With the Government of Canada and the Born this Way Foundation, we organised a high-profile event at the 2018 UN General Assemblyto raise awareness and generate political support for mental health and well being globally.
- Funded by the Government of the Netherlands, we are working with international experts on an initiative to increase political support and funding to improve mental health in disaster and conflict-affected areas.
- With Comic Relief we are building capacity in different countries to advocate and campaign for more political and financial support for mental health.
