United for Global Mental Health joins the first-ever #MentalHealthAction Day

With the COVID-19 pandemic highlighting the growing mental health crisis, amid the continued struggle of systemic racism, we are proud to be joining a coalition of more than 1000 organizations, brands, government agencies and cultural leaders for the world’s first-ever Mental Health Action Day.

On Thursday 20th May, during the internationally recognised Mental Health Awareness Month, MTV Entertainment Group will be spearheading an open-source movement to shift culture from awareness to tangible action on mental health.

With prominent supporters including CBSNAACP, Nickelodeon, Selena Gomez & Rare Beauty, TikTok, World Health Organization (WHO) and YMCA, at United for Global Mental Health we are proud to be part of the largest cross-sector effort to move the dial on mental health and emotional wellbeing.
