Mental Health Support Resources

United for Global Mental Health is an NGO specialising in global policy. Whilst we’re not able to provide mental health support directly, we believe everyone, everyone deserves access to mental health support.

Our mission is to bring leaders, organisations and advocates together globally to change and improve the policies in place that prevent people from accessing mental health.

Below you can find information on mental health resources and support services available around the world.

We believe everyone everywhere deserves access to the right mental health support. Please note that we do not directly offer mental health services.

Where can I find mental health support?

If you need mental health support, there are several options available to you:

  • Local healthcare facilities
  • Community groups that specialise in mental health
  •  Find A Helpline has over 1,600 free, anonymous and confidential support resources available over phone, text or webchat.

What to Expect When You Reach Out

Reaching out for help can be scary but knowing what to expect can make it easier. When you contact a helpline you’ll be connected with a trained professional who can listen and offer support. Whether you need immediate crisis intervention or just someone to talk to there are resources available to support you.

Remember, you’re not alone. Everyone needs a little help sometimes. If you’re struggling with your mental health, there is no shame in reaching out.
