World Health Day: Lancet Comission in French, CBM International Initiative
United for Global Mental Health is marking World Health Day by calling for mental health for all, sharing French translations of the Lancet Commission on Global Mental Health and Sustainable Development and congratulating CBM International on an exciting new venture.
Key Lancet Commission materials translated into French
The theme for this year’s World Health Day is Universal Health Coverage, which ties in with the Lancet Commission’s argument that investing in mental health is key to delivering on the promise of Universal Health Coverage, as well as the Sustainable Development Goals at large.
Key Commission materials translated into French include the: executive summary, key messages and recommendations and PowerPoint slides outlining the Commission’s core messages.
CBM International launches community initiative
Our friends at CBM International have also launched the Community Mental Health Initiative with the aim of promoting meaningful participation in communities, improving quality of life and broadening the choices for care available for people with psychosocial disabilities.
